Inter-cell welding, followed by a short-circuit and weld quality test.

Machine operation
If abnormalities are found during the initial polarity/short circuit test, the machine will reject any affected products. Qualified batteries will be transferred to the welding area. After welding, the batteries will undergo a final short circuit test and weld quality check.
