Every battery maker knows that cast-on-strap (COS) is one of the most critical stages in lead-acid battery manufacturing. Properly casting the so-called strap connections over the already aligned and positioned battery plates is key to the battery’s correct functioning.
In order to simplify this overly complex process, BTS developed our mold release agent application machine, which helps keep the COS molds clean and applies a thin, uniform coat of mold release agent. It is better used in combination with our cost-efficient mold release agent, which comes in two versions — for led-tin and led-calcium alloy.
